last september 17, 2005, the college of nursing had their acquaintance party... active as i always am, i directed a spoof of pinoy big brother and named it big sistah... big sistah is a double meaning title since our dean is a woman and many men in our college are acting like "sisters"...
the plot of the story is simple....
we have just presented the different people in the college... from the students to the intructors...
after the show, we had a lot of comments... most say it was the only part of the entire party that interested them... some say it was witty.... some say it was funny impersonating the very people of the college... even some of our instructors were having fun, guessing if they were one of the instructors being portrayed. one even said... it was harmless... it was just plain fun...
but then this one student is creating a big fuss about the play... saying that most the wearing of the pink uniform was improper...
however, in my part as the director and scriptwriter, it was just plain and pure entertainment.... it was done in good taste...
the things we presented in the play was the truth existing within the college... sbai ko nga, sa mga nasagasaan, sori po, katuwaan lang, walang pikunan...
the simple play which lasted about half an hour has been the talk of the college.. some positive... some negative...
like they always say if you are an actor, director, propsman etc...
"basta nasa showbiz, laging may intriga...!"
hehehe... nagpapanggap lamang po na artista ang inyong lingkod...
