my simple (big?) sacrifice

this year, for the first time in my 20 years of existence, i never had the determination to do a big sacrifice. some may say, "sus, ano ba naman yang sakripisyong yan. walang kwenta." to hell with everyone. all i care about is doing something that will make me happy and make me someone better or yet the best.
so what am i talking about... its nothing, actually... its just about completing the nine morning masses, or popularly known as the missa de gallo...
so what is so big with this so simple sacrifice... i consider it big because..
1. i live approximately 7 kilometers away from town and the nearest church is 5 kilometers away...
2. i am a student who has a class at 7:30 am on mondays and tuesdays....
3. its cold here in baguio... you would rather sleep or stay in bed...
4. i have to wake up early (around 4am) in order to catch the 5am mass at the SLU Burgos Gym...
5. i am not a morning person
6. i am not that religious
seven reasons... good enough...
i am glad that i have survived the past 3 morning masses... and i intend to complete it...
God has been good to me this 2005, what is 9 days of "prayer mode" right... tama na muna ang tv, radio at internet...
